I've had nothing but trouble with this pool. Every time a bird lands on the inflatable ring, they put small puncture holes in it. This causes the ring to deflate in about 12 hours. More than once I came home from work to find my pool half-filled with water because the rest of it ran out when the ring deflated.

Intex claims that the pool will stay standing if the ring deflates, as long as no one swims in it. Obviously they never took into account wind (10+ MPH) moving the walls enough to allow them to sag.

Finally, after patching 78 holes (yes, I counted them!) and making my pool ring look like a spotted leopard I made one last patch. After pulling out the rubber stopped on the air hole it pulled completely out! I guess I had to inflate it more than the number of times that Intex had planned on.

Intex will not honour the warranty on the pool, saying that the damaged was not caused by defects in the pool, but by normal wear and tear.

So save yourself a lot of headaches and money. Buy a good above ground pool from a reputable company. Intex won't be getting any more of my hard earned money... EVER!

I am thrilled with this pool. This is the 2nd Intex pool of this size I have bought. Unfortunately, mice ate the first one when it was in storage and I immediately replaced it with the same size Intex pool. I had purchased another brand of pool similar to this and it did not compare to Intex's standards. Intex's package comes with a ground sheet (more than ample), the great pool, a ladder, a filter & pump system and a cover. It also comes with a video of how to set up the pool which is so easy to do. Most important is getting the ground below the pool level and then just start to fill. I highly recommend this pool to anyone. When not in use we lock the ladder up out of site to prevent any "unwelcome company".

Bought this pool back in beginning of August. Took a day to level off a spot in the yard (about 17 foot around). Aside from that it's pretty self explanatory, about 4hrs. to set up. Came with plenty of instructions, called a local pool supply and they helped me with the chemicals. Had to tie and steak the ladder down outside the pool, the baffle attachment is useless. The skimmer functions, but won't hold still with people in the pool. So if your using it, you need to shut the filter off when the pool is in use or the pump ends up cavitating,(sucks in air and stops pumping water)this will damage the pump! Overall we've, mostly my two boys, had a great time with it.
